Jose Mourinho is confident that a £30m bid will be enough to secure the services of Julian Draxler for Manchester United this summer, according to reports.
The Red Devils are thought to be on the lookout for attacking reinforcements as Mourinho looks to bolster his squad ahead of his first full season in charge at Old Trafford.
United have thus far only signed defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal and Mourinho is said to have become frustrated about the Red Devils’ slow progress in the window.
Now, the Daily Star is reporting that United are preparing to make a £30m bid to sign Draxler from Wolfsburg, who Mourinho sees as an alternative to Borussia Dortmund’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The same report goes on to say that Mourinho is keen to bring a wide, attacking midfielder into his squad ahead of next season and that Draxler fits the bill.
